it only shows for how long you've been recording, but again, there is no way to tell when it'll stop.

If it's approaching 12 mins do you have to keep an eye on the counter. How long do you loose between cut off and re-starting?

George, one person speaks for 30 minutes or more??? It's rare for me to have one person speak longer than 12 minutes, so the time limit on my 7D really isn't an issue. Also, early in the day I'll ask the Best Man and MOH how long their speeches will be so I know.
