Sony Fx7 Steadicam or Slider?

I shot with a Sony fx7 and fx1. I know a lot of people use sliders with dslr cameras. Which would be more useful a slider or Steadicam for me with the types of cameras I am using?

Also any tripods that are descant for under 200? I have been watching some on eBay but wanted to get ur opinions! :)

It's not a matter of what will work with that camera, it's a matter of preference, as your camera will work with either. I started a thread that is current on the wedding section regarding which one to get. Check it out!

Sub $200 tripod - The legs I'm sure will be fine, but the head will not be smooth on new sub $200 tripods. If you could pick up a used bogen or something with a 501 head, you'll be in good shape. You def want a fluid head for panning and tilting.
