Congratulations on your first Wedding Films Ethan and I hope to see you improve later on. I haven't watched the whole thing but here are my inputs. Let start off positive. You have a good eye for compositions so keep on doing what you doing but add sliders and steadicam when you have the fund.

Now onto things that you need to improve on:

Fix your color balance. For example, the bride getting ready shots is overly orange. Here's a tip, ask them to do makeup near the window and color balance to around 5800 kelvins.

For highlights, it's imperative that you know how to edit with the music. I felt it was just a bunch of clips strung together and music was an afterthought.

Like others have said, shaky cam and hunting for focus is very amateur.

Your exposure could use a little bit of help. Do you know how to color correct? it may fix some underexpose shots but not overexpose.

I really dislike works that use copyrighted music. It's just more professional in my opinion if you go by the rules. The company I work for use themusicbed

I know I'm being extremely negative and there are people on this board like Noa Put who's afraid they might hurt your feeling. I would advice that you embrace and seek out harsh criticisms because that's the only way you're going to get better.

Noa, I just had a look at you Aisha and Baydhir video. Very good work as usual. I have a question, how do you do your 'crane' shots (around 2.08)? Also the flying shot at 2.15. Are they done with the handy cams? Do you leave the on auto to do that kind of shot?

Both shots where done with a blackbird steadicam with a canon 550d and a 14mm samyang (rokinon) lens. All flying shots where done with a dslr in that trailer, all the rest with a handicam. In some cases you can see it's a 550d because it has less resolution (less sharp image) compared to the cx730.

I filmed my very wedding about 2 weeks ago and am just starting my editing process now. I'm excited to get everyone's feedback here, both the good and the bad.

I definitely had technical issues to. I'll spend some time later writing through the entire experience front to back.
