Canon XA20 or HF G30 settings for weddings

For those of you who shoot with Canon XA20 camcorders (or Canon Vixia HF G30), what are your Media settings: Movie format, Recording Mode, Frame Rate. I have the HF G30 and have been shooting AVCHD, 24MBPS, PF29.97. I would like to shoot my weddings at 1080p/24. How do I get there? Output will be to Vimeo, BluRay, USB and I'm sure will still have a few DVDs for parents.

Re: Canon XA20 or HF G30 settings for weddings

I have the HF G10, so it's a bit older, however I think the menus are the same. I assume you are asking how you change your framerate? The first step is to hit "FUNC." in the upper left of the screen, then hit "MENU" in the upper left of that menu, then select the second or middle tab, go down to framerate and switch to 24p. I personally shoot AVCHD 24mbps, 1080p24 with a 1/48 shutter speed and adjust f/ stop to the light I'm shooting in, only occasionally changing the shutter speed when necessary. I find it faster if I don't have a lot of settings I'm changing during a wedding, and I try to keep something consistent. For lower light scenarios I've gone down to 1/24 shutter speed, but I don't like to if I can help it.
