Instagram Question

Does anyone know how to link to a video on Instagram? I would love to know how to embed post a short clip of the highlight video directly onto Instagram.

Re: Instagram Question

You can't as far as I know.

I make my own 640 x 640 timeframe.

Do the 15 second edit.

Export.

Sync to my iPhone

Then upload to Instagram from my phone.

I don't use Instagram, but wouldn't this work?

Re: Instagram Question

When I read it, I thought he was asking how to post INTO instagram... not out of instagram and onto a webpage or FB etc.

But, if that's what he's asking, then yes, that's how it's done.

Alternately, it is possible to repost from someone you follow on IG as well, if that's the intent.

Re: Instagram Question

Oh you're right Kyle. I thought it was a way to paste embed code into IG, it seems the opposite.

This is what I feared. Ugh. Well, thank you for providing the work-around at least!

Re: Instagram Question

I've found that codec and settings need to spot on for instagram to accept the 640x640 render and upload it.

It gave me a headache in the past.

That's exactly how I do it. It's simple. :)
