DVD case printing, perforated or A4?

Hey All, anyone using "plain" A4 sheets for printing DVD case covers? I love the Merax perforated ones as they pull apart perfectly and easily, but neither my Epson Artisan or Canon MX922 will "pick up" the paper. Ideally, I use the Canon only for DVD covers and keep it filled with DVD case paper. The Memorex paper will pick up perfectly but perforations are not nearly as clean after folding ten times and pulling apart. I am wondering if I can simply use A4 paper with no pulling apart. Looks like A4 paper cant be purchased in a store here in Boston area, must be ordered online.

Re: DVD case printing, perforated or A4?

I prefer a clean edge of a rotary cutter but don't print onto my everyday A4 copy paper ... I rather use Kodak's 120gsm photo paper with a matte finish. It definitely gives the DVD case a smarter look. I tried the perf paper once and wasn't impressed with the edge it gave me so I went back to using a rotary cutter and have template lines on the printed cover so it's quick and easy to trim too.
