For low-budget multi-cam shoots most of the time you will not have the option to have the same cameras for your event.
I always rent the cameras a day earlier or setup a few hours before.
That way you can setup and calibrate the cameras as much as possible.
The more time you spend at the location the less time you need to adjust the color/brightness in editing.
White balance your cameras, and to set iris/gain etc. manual.
Even if you use the same cameras, copying the settings is not enough, since you will shoot in different angles and therefore other light conditions.
I use DVrack (www.seriousmagic.com) to calibrate my cameras. A wonderful piece of software.
