Hello to all.

We are new to the videography business. Not new to weddings, but new to the video end of them.

I have a couple of small videos that my video guy has completed for web use. Please let me know your thoughts on his work.

I think the first vid uses way too much time for setting shots...over 2 minutes of the facility. I started wondering if this was a vid of the facility. Recommend no more than 15-30 seconds of facility stuff (my personal preference only). It appeared the editor didn't have much footage of the ceremony. Also, long zooms of the aisle seemed excessive to me. Recommend the aisle zoom fades into the bride entry or maybe the couple exiting.
As for the second vid, liked it better but still a little too much of the facility. But overall, much better edit. It got to the people faster. I noticed one or two shots were handheld and shake was evident. When you have to use that footage, go with slow-mo as it will limit the noticability of the shake. Also, when showing a half screen shot alone, bring the second half in before fading out the first. Gives a smoother transition that way and doesn't leave the viewer wondering what's next. Also, some of the quick shots toward the end of the bride and groom were a little too quick for me...maybe let them show at least 4-5 seconds. Expect your transition ate up some show time on each end of the clip as it faded out so ad a couple seconds to cover that. Overall though, nice look to the vid. Hope this helps.

I don't think all those fade to blacks work welll expecially for internet viewing. Also the feathered embosed border doesn't work either. You have precious little viewing area when internet streaming and you better use every pixel of it to convey your message. I agree with previous poster about the first clip.
