Wow, that's unfortunate! Are you sure the priest wasn't drunk or at least an ex-con? His behavior was over-the-top. I've only shot a few events, but I've encountered bossy officiants. I just nod my head, agree with them, then I do whatever I think is right for my clients. After it's over, I get dirty looks, but it's all smothed over when I tell them how great they look on camera. It helps not to get intimidated by men of god. Seriously, they are just like you and me. No need to succumb to the big bad authority figure. It's a shame that bride had messed up pictures and video.

well the video is fine, he just really only ruined my sync.. lol

as for this kind of behaviouir, some people know me here as being a bit of a wanker when i want to be, but in cases like this, it always helps to be the "good guy"

either way, i guess another lesson is that it pays to have 2 cameras rolling
