General Wedding Videography Workflow
 

This post is mostly for people just starting out, but if you are a seasoned veteran and have more steps that you have found helpful in your workflow, I'd be glad to hear it.

Workflow for already booked clients:
- Staff Event (make sure there are cam ops available)
- Receive checklist items from client (timeline, day of contact info, etc...)
- prepare for event (charge batteries, inventory, etc...)
- Shoot Event (network with other vendors at event)
- web highlights proof (put online ASAP)
- full DVD proof (client reviews first version of DVD)
- Final Copies (make any corrections from DVD proof before making copies)
- Archive (follow up and make sure everything fine with final copies, then archive to tape and optical media)

Don't forget 'get signed contract' and 'collect payment'. :-)
