Quote;"Overall, it was a lot of fun. Whether you're a "Dubya" supporter or not, it's not very often that the President of the United States comes to town, and it's pretty neat to see how the whole thing works. I can't really explain it, but it really does make you proud of the office of the President and proud of our country.

It will be one of those things I can show my kids when they're older, and I'm glad I got to do it. "

I know what you mean about shooting the Prez. Never, ever miss such an opportunity, politics notwithstanding.

Back in '93 president Clinton came to a plant where I worked. I took some time off, and got my trusty Nikon (before I got wrapped up in video) and shot several roles within 20 to 30 feet of the President. At one point, I just yelled out "Hey Bill!" He turned, looked right at me, and gave me the thumbs-up sign, as I fired off that cam's motor drive. I got the shot of a life time then!

It's an awesome feeling to see such a spectacle and be recording it as well. BTW, made some good change on those photos!
