Vegas 8 and sound

Is there a way in vegas 8 to add an effect to the sound to make the music track have pops and clicks in it like an old record?

Thanks,

Kevin

Try this plugin Kevin (VST or DirectX): http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/vinyl/

You can adjust the following parameters:

Noise - The amount of turntable motor rumble and noise
Electrical Noise - Internally generated electrical noise, such as 60 Hz grounding hum
Wear - Control how worn out the record is, from brand new to played a few thousand times
Dust - The amount of dust on the record
Scratch - The number and depth of scratches on the record
Warp - The amount of warping and the warp shape for the record - from no warp to the edges totally melted and warped
Record Player Year - The year of the record player - from current linear tracking turntables to 1930 phonographs
Stereo/Mono - Switch between stereo and mono output
Input and Output Gain - Set the gain in and out of the effect with visual level meter feedback

Thank you very much, it worked great!

The only one that wouldn't work was the wrap, for some reason there is no option to change. Doesnt matter though as it works excellent as is!

Thanks again,

Kevin

Glad it worked out - quite impressive that it's free, huh?!

Take a look at the website - there is something about Warp in the DX version not working in certain hosts, therefore it is off by default. There is a way to turn it on but I'm with a client at the moment working on a project so I shouldn't really be responding to this post anway!

Cheers,

Ian . . .
