saving project won't take
 

When saving a project to a new 1TB internal drive the saves won't stick. Saves work fine to any other location, but not this particular drive.

When I reopen the project it as if the "save" never occurred and I get the original version of the project. Any ideas? It would seem to be a hard drive issue, but what a strange thing.


Addendum: I am certain the files are just corrupted. Found a fix.

Your hard drive must be in read only mode. change it and Vegas will save the project.

Michael, good thought, but that isn't the case. The problem has resolved itself. I had initially loaded up the data on it on another PC then moved the drive to my workstation and I guess because I had to convert the disc when I moved it (or import it as Windows called it) caused a bit of a bug. I found a workaround, but then everything at some point just started working normally.

I normally wouldn't load up a drive in the manner I did but I was moving 500 GB and just thought it would be simpler, which it was.

Anyway, as I said, fortunately everything is working normally and I guess that's all I can ask!
