A Question on a Video Frame
I am creating some video highlight films of high school football and I need to take the first frame of a clip and extend its length to 1 second. Essentially, this is putting a still image in the time line at the beginning of the clip. I have done a similar task in Ulead Video Studio, where it allowed me to make an image file of a frame.
Is there a similar technique in Vegas? |
Take a picture of the frame you want. Right above the preview window is a little floppy disk icon...it says "copy image to clipboard"
This takes a jpeg image and puts it in your media bin. Drag that into the timeline and make it 1 sec long! Hope this helps |
Thanks!!!
Jason,
That is great. This is exactly what I needed to do. Chris |
Glad to help
I do a bit of football clips for my high school as well! Good luck, and if you need any more help I'd be glad to assist. |
Chris,
You might want to make sure your preview window is set to best to get the best resolution for your image. Ron |
Make that Best/Full.
I know there's a script out there somewhere (VASST site?) called something like "snapshot to file" that automates this for you. |
Make sure all of your after effects are added before you take the picture as well or it won't look the same at the video.
