DVD Architect Question

I recently upgraded my machines from DVD Architect 4.0 to DVD Architect 4.5 and am noticing a problem with image quality on the final DVD. I'm using Vegas 8 to create the file.

With media made with DVD Architect 4.5 the video has a jagged look, pixelated look around the edges. This is both for text generated and with straight lines (buildings, etc.) in the actual video. It ends up with text that looks horrible and is almost unreadable and adds a primitive, nasty feel to the video rendering is unusable. If I create the DVD in Architect 4.0 using the same source video what I believe are the same settings their is no problem and the DVD looks great.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? If no one else has experienced this, any ideas? This is happening with all of the 4 machines and 6 burners I have tried this on.

Thank you for any assistance,

James

Is this interlaced video or progressive/deinterlaced? Sounds to me like this might be your issue (maybe a setting in Vegas 8 that you've not notice change?)

This is interlaced video I'm rendering from Vegas, ntsc. But, perhaps their is a setting in DVD architect 4.5 that is different from my setting in architect 4.0, but the match everywhere I know to look.

Any ideas where a setting might be different in 4.5?

I don't think it is anything coming out of Vegas as the same product that looks bad from 4.5 looks great from 4.0.

Thank you for your response and if you have any other ideas, please let me know.
