Architect file problem...

I've been asked to produce a number of NTSC dvd's of the last wedding I filmed. (I sought guidance re this in another thread.) I have made the dvd files for the Ceremony dvd and presume they are ok.

However, I came to open the DVDA file of the Reception and am told it is not a valid Architect file - and can't open it! I have already made the PAL dvd files from it so if I hadn't needed to make an NTSC dvd files from it there would have been no issue, But I do, and see myself staring at a complete remake of all the menu for this disk. I confess to not liking this idea!

I wonder if anyone has any possible solutions to this problem. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any backup to it, which I could work from.

Edward - you don't have a script for regular backups to DVDA files as you do for Vegas do you?

PS: the file size shows as 0 bytes!

Potentially dub question but you are trying to open a *.dar file, right?

That's not a good sign :-(
Have you tried doing a hard drive search to see if it shows up anywhere else?

yep, it is a .dar file.

I've done a bit of a search but can't find anything.

No. DVD Architect doesn't have a scripting engine like Vegas does. Even then, it needed the new "Custom Command" abilities in order to even work properly in Vegas.
