I know your pretty much an expert Edward, so i don't doubt you. Maybe vegas is just not playing ball with me. Thanks. Paul. |
Paul, I suspect that there's some terminology confusion here as, like you, I've never been able to get the default text length (or any other generated media) to less than 10 sec.
Default image length, no problem, but generated media length, no. |
Ok, mine is set to 8 seconds. Just dragged a text down - came out to 10 seconds. Changed it to 12 seconds, still came down as 10 seconds.
With mine set to 8 seconds, I can right-click the timeline, choose "Insert text media" and the newly added event *IS* 8 seconds. You can also create a selection area on the timeline, right-click the track there, choose "Insert text media", and the newly added event will match the selection area. So... I guess it just depends on if you drag it from the generated media tab or "insert" it some other way. You could also use scripts to add generated media to the timeline at any length. |

Thanks Mr Troxel !!
It worked. Paul. |
Just thought I'd post the current version of the time lapse. Certainly not finished and a bunch of things to fix, but as a work in progress here it is.
Thanks to all for the help with Vegas http://www.j-e-andrada.com/render.mov |
