Type ö in Titler?
Hi,
I'm trying to write a name in the Titler that includes the letter ö (with the dots on top.) I added the international English to the languages in my editing computer but nothing I type seems to work. Can someone help? |
Hi Lorinda,
Try the Character Map (it's in Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools on my XP PC). Select any font (doesn't matter which one), find the ö character (for Arial it was in the bottom left corner but for other fonts it may be elsewhere), copy it to the clipboard then paste it into your Vegas text. You can then select your font and it will stay as a Ö (providing your chosen font supports that character, of course). There are both upper and lower case versions. Hope that helps. Ian . . . |
That worked great. Don't know why I can't remember such things as character map...
Thanks so much, Ian. |
Glad it worked out, Lorinda. I have the same problem - unless I use something regularly it disappears off my 'must remember that' radar!
|
Ian, you get the "WAY COOL" award for the day. Thanks for your suggestion!
|
Thanks! Perhaps you could tell that to my teenage sons who told me yesterday that I dress like a character from Herge's Adventures of Tintin. No 'Way Cool Award' coming from them . . . sigh . . .
