right. distributed network rendering chops up a singel render job and divides it between the available render machines. theoretically, a render should take less overall time because it is split up between multiple computers, kind of like how vegas can render in multiple threads makign a multi-core CPU render faster.
unfortunately, I have found the process to be nothign but trouble and unable to function as marketed.
