PC WD hard drive, and mac wd hard drive

I have two my book WD hard drives, one has been used on a mac, and one on a PC (mine) I need to get the video from the mac hard drive, to my hard dive so I can edit on vegas, is it possible? when we try it says the file cant be modified.
