Don't Display Event Pan/Crop and Event FX Icons in Timeline
 

Is there a way do disable displaying the small icons that show just before the end of each clip? One icon brings up the Pan/Crop window and the other the Event FX window.

I just find them distracting and unnecessary. I've seached Help and this forum but couldn't find an answer.
