Yes, Vegas Pro 12 will sync between Pan/Crop and the timeline.

Thanks Edward. It doesn't seem to be automatic as it wasn't/hasn't been syncing for me...How do you get it to do it?

Did you click on the little "lock" icon - i.e. the sync button? The left-most button under the Pan/Crop timeline.
