Vegas 8 Pro tiny audio glitch/click/noise when rendering out file
Hey everyone,
Got an annoying problem that I cant seem to pin down. When I render out an AVI file with MP3 audio via Vegas Pro 8 half the time I am getting a tiny click/glitch in the audio right at the beginning of the rendered file. I've tried using an audio fade at the beginning to see if that helped but it didnt; tried moving the timeline contents along half a second and that didnt help either. The source content is absolutely fine and its completely random, I can render out and get the click then render the same file and its fine the next time around - though rebooting the PC seems to help the most. Ive tried playing back the rendered files on 2 PC's just to check its not my sound card audio system etc. I am currently trying to render out a hundred or so small video files and its driving me insane. Has anyone come across this type of issue before or know of any work around? Many thanks, Rik |
I am confused. You have an .avi file on the timeline and a .mp3 file on the timeline? Or are you saying you are trying to render a .avi with an mp3 audio?
If you have an mp3 on the timeline, I'd suggest doing an audio only render to a wave and using that on the timeline instead. |
I know exactly what you are talking about, it has happened to me a few times however its usually totally random and happens very seldom. I don't have a solution for the problem but I have observed that keeping multitasking activity low while a PC is rendering helps. Rendering to a different drive is highly recommended, if all else fails upgrade your system.

I've had the same issue a number of times. I don't know what causes it, I just had to edit it out.

Oddly, I just heard one of these a few days ago from my timeline. But it wasn't in the rendered file.
