that child's suit is brown to me - and client must have been blind not to notice it...

With regards to the teal or any color that doesn't look right you might try using the EX1'S color correction tool and adjust the color to look more true.

The blacks sound like IR issues. Use an IR filter.

I agree with many of the statements above - there are many shades/colors of black, and the camera will do some seeming strange things to some of them. Not previously familiar with IR contamination, but certainly have seen many cases where certain angles of light reflection produce some remarkable color shifts.

Well, anyways, I went in with secondary color corrector, created a selection area that was the child's right sleeve (including some light and dark areas), and came up with the attached. Certainly it's an improvement, but it may not hold up with moving footage. Probably will improve it somewhat, though. Beware of reduced color saturation in skin/hair tones - this may require further color correction.
