Work Flow Suggestion for Multi Cam Shoot Please

I am looking for suggested workflow ideas for Multi Cam shoots.

Here is my current workflow:

Make Folder on Hard Drive and Name it

Create Subfolders and title them Each Cam 1, Cam 2,

Capture video to appropiate folders.

Drag each Camera to its own Video Track

Synch Videos

Enable Multi Camera Function

Make first Edit from Multi Track Video, ie cuts, blurs, etc

RENDER track as AVI file RENAME

Do final editing, ie final cuts, transistions, color corrections, blur out items, etc

Render for final output in desired format.

Is this correct or is ther an easier way?

I'm not sure why you need the intermediate render but, other than that, it sounds like you're on the correct path.

Sounds pretty good.

You might consider, instead of rendering out to AVI and then doing final post on that, simply opening a new project and pulling the multi-cam .veg file in as a sub-project. This will still allow you to do the post work (CC, etc.) but it also allows you to easily tweak the original project if you need to with out the overhead of the full re-render.

I have used this approach successfully on a number of projects.

Just a thought.
