Anyone have issues with FX that stop functioning?

Using 64-bit 9.0B.

This is wierd. I just finished editng a complex 45-minute video with lots of g-screen. I used Bright/Contrast to darken the backgorund and Defocus to add depth. Suddenly the controls for Defocus don't show and changes to B/C have no effect.

Anyone experience this? Any suggestions? BTW, I did upgrade my video card, but as Vegas doesn't use it, I dont think it should matter.

- I'm using Vegas 32-bit and I had the same with "Soft Contrast" Fx which I believe is from the same "stable"(?). I have reported it to SONY along with a screen capture of the MIA controls.

The weird thing is that although the FX on the Event isn't showing, the FX Icon on the Event is GREEN! So, Vegas thinks it is happening, when it isn't, and if were then the controls would be showing - which they aren't.

Anyway, I have reported this to SONY and they are loking into it. Maybe you should do the same and underline the fact that this is with 64-bit too.

Grazie

I'm going to experiment a bit today and maybe even reinstall. I'll also try copying and pasting the atributes to see if that fixed it.

What a shock. Do you by any chance have New Blue Effects II installed?

The video card I installed is a GTX260.
