Rendering out to m2v and then not able to edit it?!?
I had rendered out a movie m2v for DVD. After I had finished, I lost my original captured AVI. So at least I had the m2v to use and re-edit if necessary, but I was shocked to discover that I cannot edit the m2v file! Is this a problem with my system or do I need to download a certain codec to accomplish this process?

What happens if you rename it to MPG?
|
or as .m2t.
|
I will try that...
|
It did not work - renaming them both m2t or mpg. It tells me the files are still corrupted, yet they are fine to play using MP and VLC and they work fine in Arch.
Using Vista |
You may need to mux an audio track with it for Vegas to see it. Or use some other program to convert it to a format Vegas can read.

Am I the only one that has this issue? Is it just my machine?
