Multi Cam Edit Mistake

Hi Vegas Editors,

I setup my tracks for my multi camera soccer game shoot...went through and sunk them up first and then created my multi track....and realized as i went through the edit, one of the tracks become unsynchronized further down the edit....Can I save what I have done so far in the edit, and undo the multi track and sync them up again to create another multi camera track that is synchronized?

Thanks

Just Did the old manual fix

Hey ...I just went in and saw the parts that were off....and took those out of the multi track...and just did those again....it was just one small part...:)

But here is something else I asked myself today while editing....does anyone know how to copy multiple keyframes and paste them in lets say track motion or any other event fx? Is it possible? I know you can copy one keyframe and paste , but how about multiple for tedious effects?

It's a while since I did multi-track editing but I seem to recall that I was able to correct any piece out of sync by sliding it one way or the other on the time line...I worked out how many frames out I was and moved the clips that number.

Using the built-in multi-cam, it's pretty much necessary to start over to get everything in sync.

This is one of the advantages the script multi-cam options - it's definitely possible to adjust sync as the tracks stay separate with the scripts.

A trick that should be a standard way to setup a multicam edit in Vegas is prior to starting the multicam edit, copy each track to a new track and sync them all. Then perform the multicam edit but only select the original tracks, not the copies. If there are any places you want to change, you can easily cut them out of the multicam track and replace them with pieces from the tracks that you copied prior to doing the edit. Since they were already synced, you just move clips up to the multicam track. Cut where you want to replace a segment of your video and delete the unwanted piece(s) on the multicam track. Then drag the replacement piece up to the multicam track. Since you cut them together, the replacement piece will be the correct size.
