Black
I have a footage from 2 cameras and one of the camera have the black suite of the groom look like a black blue.
I am trying to match it to the other camera to look like a solid black. I have tried using the color corrector but I am not able to make it look solid black. Any suggestion? |
Dror, we could go further faster if you posted stills from each camera.

I went the other way, adjusting the fx1000 to match the z1.
See attached veg. |
The Z1 look terrible compare to the FX1000.
|
Hmm... I thought it was the other way around... The FX1000 looked horrible compared to the Z1. On the FX1000, the whites looked YELLOW. On the Z1 everything looks good.
|
yeah I agree with Edward. The blacks looked blacker and the whites whiter. Richer colors thruout IMO.
|
Ah, apparently I'm not alone in wanting to start with white whites and black blacks. (most of the cc I did was actually in the midtones)
However, Dror, that doesn't make us right and you wrong. If you like the warm/yellow pallette of the FX1000, by all means make the project warm! Ideally, your workflow and skills will allow you to closely match the cameras (media level cc), then, decide on an overall look for the project (master level cc). |
