Workflow/setting for progressive video
 

I have my last wedding of the season coming up in a couple of weeks. Another thread has got me to thinking of shooting in 30p. I have no experience with progressive footage.

The camera will give me 30p footage that has a 60i wrapper. How do I treat the footage in Vegas, as 60i or as 30p? Next, what settings do I use when rendering for use on a DVD?

.. what camera is ?? for example, with XDCAM-EX series you can shoot 30p, progressive ....period..... your settings in Vegas will be 30p and you can render progressive (mpeg2) to DVD architect with excellent results.... no need to introduce any 60i or interlaced settings.....
