Sure would be helpful if the Sony and JetDV newsletter pages had a list of newsletters showing topics of each newsletter without having to click on each link to see.

Mike Kujbida April 26th, 2010 03:45 AM

I don't know about Sony but Edward has such a list:
Newsletter Contents Index

Ken Olson April 26th, 2010 08:00 AM

Thanks Mike, but how did you even know it was there?

I've click on every newsletter index link and they all link to:
www.jetdv.com :: View Forum - Newsletter Archive

Also the April 2009 one is missing.

Mike Kujbida April 26th, 2010 08:15 AM

Ken, The Newsletter Contents Index is the Sticky on top of the page you linked to.
The April 2009 issue is there if you follow the link.
http://www.jetdv.com/tts/TTS07-01.pdf if you're still missing it.

Edward Troxel April 26th, 2010 08:16 AM

The links generically point to www.jetdv.com - the main forum page. If you click on "Newsletter Archive", it has a single post for each newsletter. But above that is a sticky named "Newsletter Contents Index" which lists what is in each of the individual newsletters.

From the link you posted, it's the second post on that page.

Does anyone know if there is there a link to the webinar (archived) that started this thread? Would be interesting to watch...

Thanks --

Sony Creative Software - Vegas Pro 9 Webinar

It would be nice if they let you download it. I liked to watch these types of videos when traveling and have no connection.

Gerald Webb April 26th, 2010 11:11 PM

just rip it, Camtasia rocks! :)

Ken Olson April 27th, 2010 10:49 PM

Yep, thought about Camtasia, but nothing beats the quality of the original.

Gerald Webb April 28th, 2010 03:36 AM

actually, I just got it with Internet download manager, normally a no go with Flash 10, but on this one it worked. You end up with the flv file (same quality) ready to watch whenever you want.
:)

I usually use my Sothink web video download manager FF plug-in, but it doesn't work on this one.

I assume this is the product you are referring to?
Internet Download Manager: the fastest download accelerator

Are you using the free version?
