9d Errant Install
 

I finally got a big project done and decided to do an install of Vegas 9d. After doing a Casper backup!!!
After a bit of installation time it tells me that the install has prematurely ended or something like that.
It also says that no changes were made to my computer. This is incorrect because I can click on a link and there is 9d. Previous project loaded fast by the way…

Problem is, settings and all were not as I had them. Probably because not all got installed.

So, what actually got installed and what actually did not get installed? With an errant install and an incorrect dialog box about the error, I do not want to take a chance on using this and find out later on in a project that is crashes or freaks out.

So I got out my backup boot drive, put it in my computer and was back to 9c as if nothing ever happened! Love that Casper clone software!

Anyway, 9d may have actually worked for me but with an errant install and PRO work to be done, I cannot take any chances with it!

So, maybe someday I will benefit from whatever the new features are…
