VEGAS 8 PRO re registration

I am about to sell an original copy of SONY VEGAS PRO 8 ( this is NOT an advert!!!) and am wondering how the new owner will be able to register it to themselves. SONY have not replied to my email about this...thanks SONY!
Does anyone know the process and are there limitations on the new owner?

You have to contact Sony, tell them who you're selling it to, and they will issue a new serial number to that person.
