Easy question about masking, and i need to finish this work tonight!
Hola chicos,
hope your vacation were good....Unfortunately i just noticed that i have a shot where i have a car in the back of the interview with a piece of paper on the window....Now i was thinking to remove this piece of paper masking it. Once i use the the pen tool and i hit the mask button, what should i do? I wanna cut the piece of paper and put the stuff i can put in theother track..... ANY ideas for me? i 'm desperate gracias |
ok, I'll have a crack.
1st track- mask the piece of paper and subtract. 2nd track- copy the mask and apply it onto a bit of plain windscreen, (with no paper), feather out, change it to positive. Now use pan crop to move the masked clean windscreen over where the paper has been removed. Rough, but done. If you have AFX, just mask it out and use the clone paint tool. |
Hi Gerald thanks for helping me out! I m desperate
So the first track is the original one with the mask then i have to duplicate it? Sorry for the silly question but i m newbie in masking.... THx a lot 4 taking time to help me |
Both tracks are the same footage. The first one, you will mask out the paper to remove and change the mode to negative, ie. create a "hole" in the image where the track below can be seen through. You can play with the feathering options if you need to. Then this hole will see whats underneath of it, you can put whatever you want in there. As was suggested, have a second track of the same footage means if you can find a clean section of windshield, you can pan the lower track until the desired clean portion is showing through the hole.
