"Jittery" motion during pans in Vegas Video

I've always gotten jittery motion in Vegas video for pans. If I do the same effect in After Effects it comes out nice and smooth.

Here's a sample video of the problem I'm describing:

The video is 29.97fps with resample disabled. Any ideas?
