As far as I know (I've only installed the demo of Vegas Pro 10) the Preset Manager is still at v2.0 and is a separate application.

As for MB Looks, aren't their "looks" simply presets for their own plug-ins? If they are, and you can view the settings, one would think that with a little bit of playing around, a remarkably similar look could be produced by replicating the settings using the Vegas plug-ins.

That's correct. Nothing has changed with this app nor it's integration with Vegas.

Which is exactly what Eugenia has done: as I wrote before, if you open her presets, you'll see a whole chain of effects 'put on top of each other' that's she's used.

Exactly. My point wasn't about the Vegas side, but the MB side. If you can see the settings and the FX, you can roll your own version of it, and save it as a preset ala Eugenia's ones.

Here's one more preset I put together a few weeks ago: Eugenia's Rants and Thoughts Blog Archive Vintage Look with Sony Vegas As always, make sure you tweak it, to suit your scene better.

BTW, for the older presets you linked here, please remove some of the contrast applied to them. They work fine on a footage shot with "flat" color settings, but for footage shot on default color settings they appear too contrasty. Personally I always tweak my cameras to shoot flat, so these presets were developed on top of such footage...
