stabilize and levels
I can not work stabilize.
Every time I have tried to use it I get the message that I have added it to an event and it should be to a clip. I have used it no problem with Vegas pro 10. Is there a different way of applying the stabilize for Vegas 11. Other Problem I have is using the LEVELS. I am not sure if it is the levels or the WAVEFORM. What it does is reverting the actions. For example, when apply input start and then try to cap it with output start, The output start reverting the action of the input instead of just cap it. Other thing I notice is when ever applying levels to a multicamera track, the levels actually work as a opacity and the track below comes up. Wonder if anyone ells have the same issues. |
Re: stabilize and levels
In Vegas Pro 11, you add Stabilier on the Project Media tab to the entire clip - not to the events on the timeline.

Re: stabilize and levels
I am not sure why would they do that, It is kinda idiotic.
In Vegas 10 you could change it back to the original clip by going to "take' . I don't see it in 11. |
Re: stabilize and levels
The levels issue could be introduced by the GPU. If possible try to disable GPU support in Options/Preferences/Video.

Re: stabilize and levels
You were right Marco.
I disabled the GPU and levels are back to normal. I really hope they will fix it soon. stabilize still does not work even when I applied from the project media. This is what I do. I have the clip in the time line but I apply it to the project media by selecting the clip then tools- video- fx media and stabilize apply. It shows the render box and then I close the dialog box and nothing happens. What do I do wrong? |
Re: stabilize and levels
Pressing "Apply" is all you got to do. If there no difference after you might try different filter settings.

Re: stabilize and levels
I tried all the option and no results.
I wish it was the only problem I have with Sony Vegas, At this point I can not use it at all since it constantly crashing and what not. |
Re: stabilize and levels
On your timeline, right-click the event you want to stabilize, create a subclip from it and apply stabilize to the subclip.
