Vegas 11 : benefit to more than one GPU

Hi,

I'm looking at making the jump to Vegas 11 as well as an upgrade to a proper GPU. Has anyone tried more than one GPU for acceleration? My friend has Vegas 11 and an eVGA nVidia 560ti GFX card and reports 36% usage during most renders. The GPU can be overclocked easily by 25%. So, I'm wondering if there is a benefit to a more powerful GFX card or even two cards. Has anyone tried this?

apparently vegas can only use 1 gpu at the moment.

Re: Vegas 11 : benefit to more than one GPU

I have used vegas 64bit on one gpu and vegas 32bit on the other gpu.

My video was about 40 net blue fx titles with motion mixed with moving photos and moving backgrounds. Rendering these to some HD preset was taking 33 min for about 9 min of footage. So, I could render two in about 38 min.

Only once did one of the projects produce some wacky black blinking lines and flashing frames, but I think it was in the 32bit side and likely had alot to do with loading other programs up during the render..
