Sony just sent out a Survey to regitered users and if you are signed up to get their promotional emails. The link is a single sue per person so I can not share it as it no longer works since I completed the survey. However check your emails and take the survey as they are finally reaching out and asking for our opinions on how we use it and what enhancements we want. Igf you did not get the email contact sonycreativesoftware and ask for a link to the survey. This is somewhat reassuring they may take steps to really enhance Vegas Pro as some of the questions were very specific and if they follow the results may make for some very over due enhancements.

Pls ask for XML support!! We need compatibility with AE and Davinci!!!

Well, Sean, to be more precise - YOU need compatibility with AE and Davinci. "WE" (as in ME) have no such need as I use neither in my normal workflow. Not saying it doesn't need to be added for YOU - just saying "WE" is an awfully broad term.

Then by all means tell them you need EDL support. But those of us who do not need it have other priorities and have told them what we need. I for one told them to finally get the stereoscopic 3D display fixed on nVidia compatible monitors.

I completed it yesterday, specifically asking them to consider a better scaling algorithm, (e.g.Lanczos instead of bicubic) and to allow a more space-efficient low cost (free) intermediate codec, e.g. DNxHD to work properly.

They were democratic 'I' wishes, not the politician's 'We' demands.
