Sound Forge for Mac!! Vegas next??
Coming Soon
It looks like Sony has rebuilt Sound Forge from the ground up. I know Vegas needs the dot.net framework ...but if they can do it for Sound Forge...? |
Re: Sound Forge for Mac!! Vegas next??
I already use Vegas on my Mac Book Pro. . . just on a separate Windows 7 partition.

Re: Sound Forge for Mac!! Vegas next??
I did that for a couple of years after I switched to Mac. Vegas worked very well under BootCamp, perhaps even better than on the PC.
But, alas, I played with FCPX last year and became very fond of its ease and reliability. I sold my Vegas license a few weeks ago. |
Re: Sound Forge for Mac!! Vegas next??
I for one would welcome Vegas on Mac OS X as an App Store purchase which would mean I would own a license that is only limited by Apple's limitations and not just 1 computer.
Vegas' powerful codec set needs to be carried over as well. As much as FCPX and it's H.264 handling is improved over FCP7, the autosave behavior really kills FCPX. |
Re: Sound Forge for Mac!! Vegas next??
Wow, I loved using Sound Forge back when I used Vegas as my main PC based editor.
Looking forward to this on a Mac. |

You're allowed to install Vegas on as many machines as you want with the understanding that you'll only run one at a time. |

This day just keeps getting better.
If Vegas does port to Mac my change to the dark side will be complete. Just spent today getting Mountain Lion installed on my PC. It doesnt know what my CPU is but it is still rocking, see Cinebench results |
