Spacebar question
 

Hi everyone:

Just a quick question. Where can I go to change the settings so that when I hit my spacebar, it will just play and pause a video, and not bring the cursor back to the starting point of the clip played?

- Options - Preferences - scroll down and you'll see box to check.

Also be aware that the Return/Enter key will play pause by default.

I prefer to leave the spacebar as play/stop&return, which is great for all sorts of adjustments, and use the Enter key and J-K-L scrubbing as needed.

Vegas has a very robust set of keyboard and numpad shortcuts, there's a key in the help.
