Vegas 12 questions
What would be a good plug-ins to try? I've from using Final Cut Pro back on the powerBook G4 I got spoiled by motion and livetext (wow old!) So my past workings with Vegas 9 kinda left me disappointed on how lacking vegas felt.

doesn't really help much knowing what you're producing does it? does your work require lots of text? (pro titler 2, heroglyph) grading? (looks) fx? (boris, genarts, newblue) correcting? (fbmn) complicated timelines? (excalibur, ultimate, vegesarus) etc., etc., |
Re: Vegas 12 questions
It's going to be a mix of things but yes I will require lots of text, and maybe some fx and some color correction.

Re: Vegas 12 questions
In addition to all of Leslie's recommendations, have a look at Pixelan (pixelan.com). They have a host of plug-ins for color (FilmTouch), fx & transitions(CreativeEase, DissloveMaster, 3D six pack).
