You can see I have it ON my Toolbar, once here I can also create - which I have - a Keystroke to summon the tool up to "SELECT" Events from ANY of the options!! My KeyStroke - Ctrl+V+E - this is so I can remember Vasst EventTools. Vasst Event Tool: Apply easy automation of Adjustments, Selections, Transitions, and Fades. Grazie |
Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
Graham...
So...is there any list anywhere, that you know of, that tells what this tool will do? The product reviews that I've look at seem pretty sparse...I've seen nothing written... I would just like to look over all the features before I jump in...thought it is pretty cheap... What are the 'SELECT' options? |
Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
Another vote for Excalibur's 'select events' tool. I use it constantly and it's on my toolbar like Grazie's VASST solution.

That app almost makes me wonder why Sony don't develop it themselves.

Very true. I'd been meaning to investigate this subject for ages. Meanwhile I'd just been splitting at the curser point, selecting the first post-curser clip then clicking to select all events to track end and dragging to close the gap; easy to screw up but I don't trust myself with ripple. A pain when there are multiple tracks even if you press F11 to clear the screen of the other dialogue boxes. Just bought the Vaast one today as its only a fiver comes recommended. A similar function may be in Vegasaur but I couldn't see it if it is. I also spent another fiver on vaast's rendering tool. Should be useful if I want to do multiple partial separate renders at the same time before feeding lots of little clips into Mercalli 3 - which can also do batches. Pete |
Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
The easiest way really is via a script. I use that tool in Excalibur all the time.

Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
Edward? Is there a separate Tool option, as per your DeSquiggle, Missing A/V, Sync etc, which I also have on my Toolbar for a KeyStroke, for the Excalibur "Event Selection"?
Cheers Grazie |
Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
Grazie, yes there is.
View - Extensions - Excalibur - Individual Tools - Tml-Select Events Just add that to the toolbar for one-click access. |
Re: Select all events on all tracks to end
That's the Excalibur feature I use more than any other and it has pride of place on my toolbar. Phenomenally useful.
