Render Settings for Youtube (slow-mo footage)
Hello,
I was wondering if there are any updated "recipes" for rendering video for Youtube. I know these settings seem to evolve every year. Please share your settings if you've found something that has worked great for Youtube renders. Also, I shot a video with a lot of slow-motion footage (96 FPS). Should I use any particular render settings to ensure this still looks good on Youtube? Thanks for any info and feedback. I know this has likely been discussed quite a bit before. However, I wanted to get the latest info instead of looking over old forum posts. Jerry |

Some people use this technique: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/...ssageID=917645. Handbrake outperforms Vegas at lower bitrates...

Re: Render Settings for Youtube (slow-mo footage)
In general, it is desirable to use the best possible quality with the highest possible bitrate. I recently usually use Sony XAVC-S with the appropriate parameters, and results as a whole I am satisfied. Of course, uploading and Youtube processing time increases significantly, but it is worth it.

Jerry, you might be interested in this thread on the Sony Vegas forum as it covers a wide range of formats uploaded to YouTube and the methods used.
