Multi-Camera Editing wiping out Pan/Crop

I had a multiple-camera shoot where one of the static shots was zoomed out too far and slightly skewed. Before I created the multi-camera track in Vegas I zoomed and rotated it slightly so it looked better. However, I had forgotten that once you create the multi-camera track it wipes out all of the adjustments you've made. I know you can use MediaFX to affect an entire clip (even after it's diced up with other camera angles) but is there a way I can use Pan/Crop on every instance of that camera angle at the same time, or am I going to have to go into each one and adjust it? Even with a pre-set in place, in a two hour show, it's going to take a loooong time.

Thanks!

why not simply apply fx to original and render to intermediary for multi-cam?

Yeah, looks like either way I would end up re-rendering...something. I spent a lot of time going down the timeline and applying the pan/crop to each instance of that angle last night. Next time I'll probably just fix it, render it out, and use it in the multi-cam as you said.

Jeremiah, I can't promise but it looks like Timeline Tools can do this for you after the fact. Definitely worth checking out.
Did I mention that it's free and a great tool :)

Paste Event Attributes will do it

Thanks, I will check that out. I had a job where the provided version of Vegas included some scripting tools and they were pretty handy.. .

The other work-around I was thinking of trying, was putting the video in a vegas project and applying pan crop, and then importing that into my main project. I have used nesting projects before as a way to avoid having to re-render footage too many times.

Nesting is a great idea that would definitely work in your situation!!
