Vegas Pro 13 and Contour Shuttle Pro V2
 

Hi Guys

I cannot get my Shuttle to work with Version 13 ..I think it's because the folder has Vegas 12 pref files in it and they point to the wrong EXE files

Anyone using Shuttle Pro with Vegas 13?? I still have Vegas 10 and it works perfectly with that!! so it must be the pref file in my Vegas 13 folder that's wrong ... Any Ideas???

I saw that but also figured it out as well. I tried to edit the pref file in Notepad and it corrupted it and Vegas has only Version 12 files in the folder ...I then found that you can go thru the shuttle software and select "Change Target Application" and click on the Vegas130 exe file and it then knows where to go and works too!!

I don't recall ever having an issue when I've upgraded versions of Vegas...

You normally don't because the pref files are included with Vegas and all you have to do is link to them. However the latest version of Vegas 13 for some reason is shipped with the Vegas 12 pref files so the Shuttle is told to link to the exe file called vegas120 which of course doesn't exist in the Vegas 13 folder ..that was the issue! It works fine with both Version 9 and 10 as the pref files are correct ..as are 11 and 12 ...it was only 13 that had the wrong pref files ... and yes the shuttle still works fine in 10 too!!
