Rendering settings

Clips are off a cannon g30. 1920x1080 59fps progressive avc hd. What are the best rendering settings to save a copy onto a hardrive and then later onto blu ray disc. I am using Vegas 12 pro.

Thanks

Re: Rendering settings

Ideally you save the entire contents of the card to your hard drive. I do this any time I do any shooting. That way I can go back and pull off exactly what I need.
For Blu-ray, the only allowable render settings are 23.976 (aka 24), 25 and 29.97 fps so you'll have to choose one of those to convert to and render to.
Use one of the Sony Blu-ray templates (AVCHD or MPEG-2 video with separate AC-3 audio) and you'll be good to go.
