Background hum from an AC units

I recently completed a short interview and when I went to edit the footage I noticed a definite hum from an AV unit. Is there anyway I can minimize that background noise? Thanks you, Bob

look at izotope, not sure what is their current release, but my 6 year old version knocks out hum pretty well.

iZoRX is my go-to RX for audio. But if you don't wish to spend money, Vegas has a neat set of Noise Redux options, which, by the way, you've already bought! Try the Parametric Equaliser.

If you wish to attach-back here a small 5 second audio sample of the AC Hum I'll have a go through the Vegas option and the iZo option. Up to you.

Grazie

Thanks guys for the information. Graham, I tried the Parametric Equaliser and it worked. I was able to reduce the hum by 90 present. Thank you so much, Bob
