Update Download Speeds?
 

Is there an alternative place to download Vegas Pro updates besides the updater? I work at a tech company and our office internet is obscenely fast. (I.e. I can upload/download a 30gb file to Google Drive in a very short amount of time). The Vegas update is 748mb and it's downloading at dialup speeds. Any ideas? I'm hard wired into a 10gb network switch that has a 7G network driving it. My internet speeds top out at 2.5gb/s because of the limitations of my network cards, but that should be plenty!!!

I noticed this as well - I have the fastest domestic broadband available in the UK (not as fast as yours, though!) and yet the 748MB file took around 35 minutes to download. This was several days after the update was announced so you'd think the servers would be less hammered than on day one.

You can always use the direct link posted in the "News" section of the VegasCreativeSoftware forum for each new update. Here's the last one:

I think there was another update just a couple of days later. That might be what you’re seeing. I had the same issue.
