You guys have helped me out a lot. I think I will plan to put a drive tray into my computer and just purchase internal drives, instal it into the drawer and archive to it.
On the drive solution do you just store the data on that drive, or actually do a backup to the drive so the project is compressed? Just curious. |
I've heard of 'backups'. What do they do then?
(Better follow that up with a ;=) just in case anyone answers that last question). Personally I just dump everything - project files (Vegas and After Effects), captured raw video, music, stills, storyboards - everything goes on the drive and I treat it like a directory. Ian . . . |
